Coats don't keep you warm in winter? We'll prove otherwise.
Why you don't just need to wear a puffer jacket for winter 2025/26 – but a really good coat.
If you're active on social media, you've probably seen this discussion before: "Coats are beautiful, but totally impractical!" "I'm not getting a coat, I need a thick puffer jacket, otherwise I won't survive the winter!" Sound familiar? Many people believe that coats don't keep you warm in winter – but that's simply not true. And that's precisely where the myth begins that we're going to debunk today.
Why coats are still underestimated
Because many people only see the appearance – not the structure.
Whether a coat really keeps you warm depends on three things:

1. The wool content
The higher the percentage, the warmer. Below 50%? Often just for show. Above 70%? Winter-ready.

2. The length
The longer the coat, the more body it warms. Simple physics. We have the coat in both long and short versions. Both are real eye-catchers.

3. The insulation inside
Many of our coats have additional inner linings that retain heat without adding bulk.
This means that a well-made coat beats many puffer jackets not only in style, but also in function.
The puffer jacket from last year
We recognize this silhouette.
Large. Soft. Stuffed.
She got us through cold nights, through sleet and along railway station paths.
She protected us — reliably and without hesitation.
But fashion doesn't just change with the seasons.
It changes with us.
We are becoming more conscious.
Quieter.
More clarity in what we want to express.
And suddenly we realize:
Heat isn't everything.
Form begins to play a role.
Lines become important.
Silhouette becomes language.
The down jacket tells a story of function.
The wool coat conveys attitude.
